Chicago's acclaimed Music Theatre Company presents its annual 48 Hour Musicals - featuring a new one-act musical by Hilliard and Boresi!
The Music Theatre Company, Chicago's critically acclaimed company especially dedicated to the art of Musical Theatre, presents four talented creative teams including Hilliard and Boresi, each of whom will create and rehearse a new one-act musical in 48 hours. This year's prompt: "Bizarre Book Titles"
The event takes place August 22nd at 7pm and 9:30pm and August 23rd at 8pm.

Brad Weinstock, hilarious and talented member of the casts of Wicked and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee comes to the D-Lounge to join Stephanie Gibson (The Addams Family, Spamalot), Christopher Shyer (Mamma Mia!, ABC's V) and Jennifer Waiser (The Pirate Queen, Daddy Long Legs) in singing songs witty, sophisticated, and off-the-wall!

Featuring Tom Deckman (Spamalot), Stephanie Gibson (The Addams Family), and Christopher Shyer (Mamma Mia!, ABC’s V)
Peter Hilliard and Matt Boresi, authors of the NYMF hits Going Down Swingin’ and Don Imbroglio and the chamber opera The Filthy Habit (Opera Grows in Brooklyn) return to NYTB at the D-Lounge with their trademark brand of hilarity and smarts. Deckman, Gibson, and Shyer will apply their remarkable talents to songs from Hilliard and Boresi’s upcoming musical Motivation as well as new songs featuring woman-eating space lizards, lovesick swamp monsters, and a defiant beauty who truly doesn’t know the meaning of the word “impossible.”
